Bright Star Unit 2B, Phase 3 Utilities & Paving

The project scope consists of comprehensive water, sewer, storm drainage, roadway, and utility infrastructure improvements. Water system work features PVC and ductile iron mains ranging from 8 to 12 inches in diameter, along with valves, blow-offs, fire hydrants, water services, and vertical realignments. Sanitary sewer improvements cover 8- and 10-inch mains, precast manholes, cleanouts, sewer services, and related appurtenances. Storm drainage improvements consist of catch basins, spillways, scuppers, handrails, and stormwater pollution prevention measures, including revegetation and seeding. Roadway improvements encompass subgrade preparation, aggregate base, asphalt paving, seal coating, curb and gutter, valley gutters, sidewalks, ADA-accessible ramps, driveways, turnarounds, and roadway transitions. Additional work involves adjustments to manholes and valve covers, survey monuments, street and traffic signage, street lighting, bollards, barricades, and trenching and conduit for electrical and gas utilities, requiring coordination between underground systems and surface improvements.
