Fann Contracting marked a major milestone Friday as employees, company leaders, and local nonprofit partners gathered in downtown Prescott to celebrate more than $1,043,108 in charitable contributions made through the company’s employee match program since its inception in 2006.
The celebration—held at the Holiday Courtyard—brought together several employee donors and representatives from this year’s beneficiary organizations. The event has become an annual tradition, with Fann hosting a “2025 FEMAD Celebration” holiday giving party to present its contributions and highlight the impact of local nonprofits.
This year’s donation total of $69,818 pushed the longstanding program over the $1 million milestone, a goal that employees and company leadership have been eager to reach.
Longstanding Commitment to Local Giving
Fann’s employee giving initiative, known as Fann Employees Making a Difference (FEMAD), started nearly two decades ago with a clear purpose: to create an easy and meaningful way for employees to support charities serving the local community. Through the program, employees may contribute any amount that fits their means, and Mike and Jason Fann match every employee donation dollar-for-dollar.
“We are so proud of Fann’s employees who have it in their hearts to donate a portion of their hard-earned income to local charities to support those in our community with critical needs,” said Jason Fann, President/COO of Fann Contracting. “The level of impact of Fann’s employee giving program—along with other generous local employers who offer similar initiatives—makes our greater Yavapai County communities better, brighter, and stronger.”
2025 Beneficiaries
This year’s FEMAD contributions were awarded to six local nonprofit organizations whose missions support vulnerable individuals and families across Yavapai County:
- Catholic Charities
- Coalition for Compassion & Justice
- Polara Health
- Stepping Stones Agencies
- Yavapai Exceptional Industries (YEI) / Prescott Charities
- Yavapai Family Advocacy Center
Each organization’s representatives attended the event to receive their donation and meet the employees whose contributions made the support possible.
Charitable Efforts Beyond FEMAD
In addition to the milestone achieved through the employee match program, Fann Contracting’s charitable contributions committee evaluates and supports numerous additional requests from local charities, schools, agencies, and nonprofit groups throughout greater Yavapai County.
“Our local charities work tirelessly—many of them around the clock—to deliver essential services to our community,” said Mike Fann, CEO of Fann Contracting. “Supporting these organizations and the people they serve has been a cornerstone of Fann’s values for decades. It’s the dedication, compassion, and generosity of our team that truly make a meaningful difference in the communities we call home. And we’re reminded every day that even the smallest contributions can create a profound impact when joined by the support of many.”
As Fann Contracting enters its next chapter of community engagement, the company and its employees continue to demonstrate that consistent, local-focused giving can create a lasting impact across our communities and the people they serve.
