CMAR Water Production Facility & Intermediate Pump Stations, GMP 2 (Fann Environmental/Fann Contracting Joint Venture)
Project Description
This $54M CMAR for the COP was broken in 6 Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) phases including installation of 12”-48” DIP water upgrades, 24”-48” water pipe, two 6MG prestressed concrete water tanks, two new pump station facilities, drainage and detention ponds, and several other major construction components.
GMP 2 of the CMAR was the COP Water Production Facility (Chino Valley). This project consisted of design and replacement of the COP water booster facility. (Buildings, boosters, electrical, controls) The facilities were originally built in the 1940’s and updates have been made to the facilities throughout the years to keep pace with the growing demand. The previous facility was undersized to meet future demands and the existing equipment has reached the end of its service life. The facility replacement has ensured safe and reliable water supply to the COP service area. The new booster station facility has a firm pumping capacity of 14.0 MGD. We are currently underway on our sixth and final GMP for the City of Prescott.
